Senior year in high school is an exciting time in a student's life. Having fun with friends and looking forward to their future after graduation. Clarus Studios would like to capture that excitement for the student and their parents in a colorful natural light image that will last a lifetime.

Clarus Studios specializes in on-location photography. We have several locations available and there is never an additional charge for a beach or park session. If you have a location in mind, we're open to your suggestions and willing to travel within the region at no additional charge**. While we love to handle outdoor photography if you would prefer an in studio setting we have a few days available at the school.

Unlike most chain studios shooting senior portraits, we like to spend more than fifteen minutes with you making what will be one of the most important photos of the year. Each portrait session is booked for you, or you and friend(s). During the sitting we will give you all the time you require to become comfortable with our photographer to ensure a truly spectacular photograph for years to come. We are more than open to you bringing your pet, musical instrument, wearing your uniform (sports, Scouts, band, etc.). We love working with all different types of clients!!

Sessions average 1 to 4 HOURS and are focused on making your photo, not who is waiting in line to be next.
All sittings include a free password protected web gallery of your proofs and free basic retouching of stray hairs and blemishes. Braces and more aggressive retouching is available at reasonable rates.

All appointments require a $50 sitting fee at the time of booking (Will be applied to a package).

** Offer applies to locations within a 35 mile radius of our market area (Northeast CT/Central MA). Your suggested location MUST be open to the public or property owned by you. Our locations DO NOT require the issuing of a photo permit. Some parks and gardens REQUIRE a photo permit and may charge additional fees. Use of these locations will require that we pass on those fees to you. If you are scouting your own location for a portrait sitting PLEASE check with the proper authorities for fees and permit requirements.
